Biografie Elina Buksha:\n
&ldquo\;The Strad magazine describes her playing as having &quot\;capacity for fantasy and storytelling&quot\; and being &quot\;highly persuasive in technical agility and individuality &quot\;.\n
Winner of Latvian Great Music Award in 2013\, the highest honor in Latvian music for &#39\;Debut of the Year&#39\; and most recently laureate of prestigious Windsor International String competition in England \, Elina is quickly building reputation as one of the most promising young musicians of her generation.\n
Born in Latvia in 1990 \,she studied with legendary Latvian violin profesor Ojars Kalnins and now continues her studies with Augustin Dumay in Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel and regularly works with Ana Chumachenco in masterclasses all over Europe.\n
She has appeared in numerous festivals: Festival du Wallonie\, Yuri Bashmet festival in Yaroslavl\, Festival du Vexin and others.\n
She has performed with such artists as Maria Joao Pires\, Augustin Dumay\, Frank Braley\,Gary Hoffman\,Henri Demarquette\, Gerard Caussee.\n
She has performed both as soloist and chamber musician in prestigious concerthalls-National Academic Chappell in St.Petersburg\, Concert Hall &quot\;Russia&quot\; in Moscow\, Laeiszhalle Musikhalle in Hamburg\, Palais de Beaux Arts in Brussels.\n
Since her debut with Liepajas Symphony Orchestra in Latvia\, at the age of 12\, she has performed with many orchestras including Latvian National Symphony orchestra\,Sinfonietta Riga\, Sinfonia Varsovia\, the Li&egrave\;ge Royal Philharmonic orchestra\, S&uuml\;dwestdeutsche Philharmonie Konstanz\, Musica Viva in Moscow\,Royal chamber orchestra of Wallonie\,Tatarstan National Symphony orchestra and many others.\n
The highlights of the 2016-2017 season include d&eacute\;buts with Kansai Philharmonic Orchestra in Japan\, tour in India with Indian Symphony orchestra and Augustin Dumay\,release of recording of E.Lalo Concerto Russe Op.29 with Liege Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and Jean Jacques Kantorow.\n
